The FBI is searching for a lone bandit who claimed to have a bomb during a robbery at a Wells Fargo bank branch.

MIAMI SPRINGS, FL — The FBI is searching for a lone bandit who claimed to have a bomb during a robbery at a Wells Fargo bank branch on Monday in Miami Springs. The robbery took place around 8:54 a.m. The branch is located at 4299 NW 36th Street.

"A robber entered the bank, advised he had an explosive device and demanded money from a bank employee," according to Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami.

No one was injured and no explosive devices were found at the scene.

The FBI released photographs of the robber taken from surveillance cameras. The FBI would not say how much money was taken during the robbery.
