FBI Searches For Miami Bank Robber

A lone bank robber held up a Chase Bank branch on Saturday and escaped with an unspecified amount of cash.

MIAMI, FL — The FBI is searching for a lone bandit who robbed a Chase Bank branch branch on Saturday. The robbery took place around 12:53 p.m. The branch is located at 80 SW 8th Street.

"A robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. There were no injuries and no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery," according to FBI Special Agent Michael D. Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall."

No one was injured. The robber escaped on foot.

The FBI released a photograph of the suspect taken from surveillance cameras. The FBI would not say how much money was taken during the robbery.
