1. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis set the date for a special legislative session for November 15th to take up legislation to prevent vaccine mandates enacted by businesses. Governor Ron DeSantis has said he plans to be a 2024 contender for the President of the United States. (CBS Miami)

2. Attack On South Beach: 26-year-old Luis Carlos Herrera said he was beaten and nearly knocked unconscious in South Beach because he’s gay. Surveillance video showed the victims’ friends trying to help, but unable to help him. (WSVN)

3. A new report shows where people moving to Florida are coming from. The number one state with residents moving to Florida is New York followed by Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and California. (WFLA)

4. Service Change: Jackson West Medical Center is bulking up other services as COVID-19 cases drop. The Women’s Center at Jackson West is also open and offers comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services. (Miami Today)

5. 23-year-old Maria Rodriguez bonded out of jail Saturday after police say she's responsible for a fatal hit and run that killed a 17-year-old jogger in Southwest Miami Dade County. (CBS Miami)
