Attention swine lovers: Do you know where your piglet is?

PEMBROKE PINES, FL — Attention swine lovers: Do you know where your piglet is?
That's the question that the Pembroke Pines Police Department in Florida posed on social media Wednesday.
"This piglet was just found wandering in the baseball field at West Broward High School," the agency said on Twitter.

"Due to it’s friendly nature, it may be a lost pet," the agency added as two officers struck a pose with the animal.
The post drew a number of responses but not exactly the kind that police were hoping for.

"Hey, that's my ̶d̶i̶n̶n̶e̶r̶ pet," said one person who responded.
"Well he’s definitely someone’s pet if you can pick him up without a blood curdling scream," said another.
Good to know.
"Cute. I'm just surprised they didn't shoot it," added another commenter.
"Looks like you guys will be bringing home the bacon," offered another.
The piglet has since been placed in a temporary foster home. To claim the pig, call Cathy at 754-246-4294.
"Perhaps it will go wee wee wee all the way home," added another commenter.
