An accused white supremacist who called for a race-based civil war online to thousands of his followers was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 3 1/2 years in prison on multiple firearms offenses. 33-year-old Paul Nicholas Miller of Fort Lauderdale sobbed in court as he was sentenced to prison. 2. Miami commissioners are pushing to ban the use of scooters, citing concerns about safety. Commissioner Diaz de la Portilla says he does not want to see Miami become guinea pigs or see residents risking themselves for an experiment. (Miami Today)
3. 16 Cuban migrants are in federal custody after coming ashore near Key West early Wednesday morning. The migrants arrived in a homemade raft according to U.S. Border Patrol officials. (WSVN)
