Man Shot To Death In Southwest Miami-Dade Home

MIAMI, FL — A man died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds overnight at a home in southwest Miami-Dade.

Detective Lee Cowart of the Miami-Dade Police Department said the shooting occurred around 4:38 a.m. in the 22200 block of SW 115 Court.

"Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds," said Cowart.

First responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the man to an area hospital but he did not survive. His name was not immediately released by Miami-Dade police.

Cowart added that the case remains under investigation by the Homicide Bureau detectives.
