Here are the top stories in Miami today:

1. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez won reelection Tuesday night with an sweeping majority of voters. Suarez had nearly 79% of the vote locked in Tuesday evening around midnight. Incumbent Joe Carollo also won re-election in District 3 by a wide margin. (Patch Miami)

2. Dan Gelber has been reelected as mayor of Miami Beach with more than 62% of the vote. A proposal to end alcohol sales in Miami Beach at 2 a.m. also won support from voters, a blow to nightlife businesses that fought the proposal. (WSVN)

3. The City of Hialeah elected well-known South Florida politician Esteban "Steve" Bovo as mayor on Tuesday night. Bovo is replacing Mayor Carlos Hernandez, who is term limited. (WPLG Local 10)

4. Miami-Dade and Tallahassee are back in court battling to control five expressways in the county. It's Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) vs. state-created Greater Miami Expressway Agency (GDX). Miami-Dade aims to declare that MDX owns and controls $4 billion in assets including multiple expressways. (Miami Today)

5. An upscale anti-Uber rideshare has launched in Miami called Alto. It hires drivers as employees instead of independent contractors and has standardized a fleet of vehicles with high-end amenities and features, among other differences.
