Here are the top five stories today in Miami:

1. The City of Miami Beach is in negotiations with Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line on an agreement for the naming rights of the Miami Beach Convention Center. The city would receive $11.75 million over a 10 year period starting with $1 million this year, if approved. (Miami Today)

2. As the housing market grows, thousands of people in South Florida are facing eviction. Realtors say the push is leading landlords to make unethical and sometimes unlawful decisions in a ploy to sell homes as quickly as possible. (CBS Miami)

3. After refuting claims from Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried that the Florida health department was in possession of stockpiled COVID-19 tests that were about to expire, state leaders admitted that they were requesting a waiver for stockpiled tests to see if they might still be safe and effective to use. 4. Miami-Dade County is now offering at-home testing for homebound residents and a new testing site in Miami Springs. Miami-Dade saw an all-time high with more than 70,000 tests administered in a single day on Monday. (Miami Patch)

5. World of Beer (WOB) is returning to South Florida with several new restaurant openings planned. Locations include Doral, Miramar, and Royal Palm Beach. Negotiations are also underway in Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas neighborhood. (Miami New Times)
