MIAMI BEACH, FL — Officials lifted a swimming advisory on the ocean side of Miami Beach but left in place another advisory along the bay.

"All beach swim advisories throughout Miami Beach have been lifted," said city officials on Tuesday. "A swim advisory for Biscayne Bay in the vicinity of 10 and 14 streets is still in effect."

Officials issued a swimming advisory along parts of the beach after a contractor struck the city's sewer main at Fifth Street and Michigan Avenue.
