1. A new ferry service, Poseidon Ferry, is planning another vessel and trips to Coconut Grove as passenger demand soars for both commuters and tourists. They say the growth is thanks to an increase in candidates being hired. (Miami Today)

2. The new Florida Surgeon General appointed by Governor DeSantis, Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, has passed a new rule that says students exposed to COVID can still go to school if asymptomatic and no COVID-19 test is needed for exposure to the virus. The rule has taken immediate effect. (WFLA)

3. Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores said Wednesday that further tests revealed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has fractured ribs and will not play Sunday against the Raiders in Las Vegas. (CBS Miami)
