1. There was plenty of drama at Miami City Hall on Friday when Commissioner Joe Carollo claimed that Police Chief Art Acevedo was going to have him and two other commissioners arrested as retaliation for their investigation. (CBS Miami)

2. A pipe-wielding Florida man chased after a woman in Miami Beach garden while fleeing police officers. Valerie Owen was just trying to enjoy her Friday when the man ruined her day. The man has been arrested and faces numerous charges including aggravated assault on an officer, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest. (WSVN)

3. Versailles Restaurant in Miami is celebrating 50 years in South Florida. Versailles is a food landmark in Calle Ocho and has long attracted hungry diners and big name celebrities and politicians seeking to support Cuban Americans. (NBC Miami)

4. Sergio's Cuban Restaurant made a 6.6-foot-long croqueta to celebrate the fourth annual Croqueta Day. Croquetas have been popular in Miami since 1975 when Sergio's brought the dish to the masses. (WPLG Local 10)

5. Lyden Spice Corporation in Miami had more than 25,000 bags and boxes of spices and food additives seized on Friday due to unsanitary conditions. The FDA and the U.S. Department of Justice filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida worked together on stopping the food. (Food Safety News)
