1. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava approved a development project on the old Calusa Golf Course despite opposition from residents and environmentalists. Residents sent over 5,000 letters to the Mayor and were shocked at her refusal to veto the project. (WPLG Local 10)

2. Federal authorities have taken into custody a 26-year-old man who apparently stowed away in the landing gear compartment of an American Airlines fight that arrived at Miami International Airport from Guatemala on Saturday morning. (Click Orlando)
3. A woman flying from Fort Lauderdale to Nashville on Saturday night attacked two flight attendants on a Spirit Airlines flight. She was restrained by a fellow passenger, and then yelled at police officers "shoot me" when they arrested her. (Tennessean)
4. Lincoln Road restaurants are suing Miami Beach over outdoor dining permits. The businesses say they will close by the end of the month without outdoor dining due to a dependency on outdoor business. (CBS Miami)
5. Atlantic Sapphire, a salmon producer in Homestead, has announced an agreement to bring Skretting, the company's supplier of fish feed, to South Miami-Dade. Skretting currently supplies the company’s feed from its Canadian operations and bringing it closer to home would reduce costs for the salmon producer. Atlantic Sapphire signed a deal earlier this year with Publix that put its trademark Bluehouse Salmon in the chain’s 818 Florida stores. (Miami Today)
