Miami Double Shooting: 1 Person Killed, 1 Wounded

MIAMI, FL — One person was killed and another wounded following a double shooting in Miami. Officer Kiara Delva of the Miami Police Department said the shootings happened around 9:33 p.m. at NE 2nd Avenue and NE 57th Street.

"One male victim who had been shot requested assistance at a nearby business. Upon the arrival of police, a second male victim was located unconscious inside of a vehicle two blocks away," said Delva.

Miami Fire Rescue personnel pronounced the victim dead inside the vehicle while the other person was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Delva said she did not know the condition of the man taken to Jackson.

"Detectives are investigating leads and possible motives and ask that anyone with information to contact the Miami Police Department and/or Crime Stoppers," said Delva.
