1. Amerant Bank recently announced that it has partnered with the United Way Miami. The bank will support United Way’s annual 5K in Coral Gables, happening in January 2022. The 5K supports nearly 100 programs, many supporting Miami-Dade families. (Miami’s Community News)

2. A neighborhood eyesore has racked up over $500,000 in fines in Miami's Shenandoah. City of Miami has put 13 code violations against the home since 2005 and neighbors have offered to help cleanup to no avail. (NBC Miami)

3. Parkland parents say they are heartbroken after a recent school shooting in Michigan. One parent said, "As much as we work every day as much as we have not stopped since February 14 almost four years ago, it's not enough." (CBS Miami)

4. South Florida-based fast casual restaurant brand, Miami Grill, has announced a new restaurant located at 72nd Avenue attached to Miami Convention Center, Miami Merchandise Mart, and the Doubletree by Hilton Miami Airport. 5. Monroe County commissioner Eddie Martinez was arrested on domestic violence charges Tuesday and appeared before a Miami-Dade court judge Wednesday. His wife told police officers she has been the victim of domestic violence throughout their marriage. (WSVN)
