Miami International Passenger With Dementia Goes Missing

Jose Alvarez missed his connecting flight at Miami International Airport on Friday and hasn't been seen since.

MIAMI, FL — A Miami International Airport passenger missed his connecting flight on Friday and hasn't been seen since, according to Miami-Dade police. Jose A. Alvarez suffers from dementia and is considered endangered. He was last seen in the Delta Terminal.

"Mr. Jose Alvarez was flying out of the country via a connecting flight through Miami International Airport," police explained. "He missed his connecting flight and has not been seen since."

Miami-Dade police said that Alvarez is missing a middle finger.

The 67-year-old was last seen wearing dark pants, a white and blue plaid shirt and gray jacket. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 250 pounds, bald with brown eyes and a mustache.
