A Miami police officer's gesture of kindness to a homeless person was met with a bouquet of white flowers in the Overtown section.

MIAMI, FL — A Miami police officer's gesture of kindness to a homeless person was met with a bouquet of white flowers on Tuesday in the Overtown section of the city. The touching scene played out underneath the Overtown bridge.
As Miami temperatures dipped into the 60s on Tuesday morning, the officer offered to help the unidentified man find shelter.
While he literally had nothing but the clothes on his back, the homeless man produced a bouquet of white flowers that he presented to the officer. The flowers appeared to be daisies.

In Chicago, single dad Maurice Anderson recently gave the boots off his feet to a homeless man whose feet were swollen and socks were bloody.
The Miami officer was so touched by the flowers that Miami police posted a photo of them on social media. Police did not immediately identify the officer.
