1. A yacht in Fort Lauderdale slammed into a bridge this past weekend. A cellphone video captured the moment a 137-foot vessel hit Sunrise Boulevard Bridge. No injuries were reported. (WSVN)

2. A federal judge quickly rejected Florida’s request to block a Biden administration requirement that workers at hospitals, nursing homes and other health-care providers be vaccinated against COVID-19. The judge wrote Florida had not shown "irreparable harm" to justify an injunction or temporary restraining order. (Fox 13 Tampa)

3. Governor Ron DeSantis is proposing more than $1 billion in gas tax relief through Florida's legislature. DeSantis says Floridians would see a 25-cent decrease at the pump if passed. Earlier this month, Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist called on DeSantis to freeze Florida's gas tax for the holiday season. (WTSP)

4. City of Miami will begin its next round of emergency rental assistance with a total of over $22.7 million in federal funding available. The city issued $12.7 million in assistance to nearly 1,300 families during the first round who have suffered financial hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic. (NBC Miami)

5. A Miami reptile dealer shipped venomous snakes and collectible turtles from his Georgia home to Florida, according to the Department of Justice. 35-year-old Ashtyn Michael Rance plead guilty to one count Lacey Act Trafficking and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
