Miami Trailer Park Murder: Police Need Help

MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police are asking for the public's help in finding the person who gunned down 51-year-old Rogelio Castro early Tuesday morning. According to police, the shooting occurred in the area of the Gables Trailer Park. The park is located at 825 SW 44 Ave.

"There was a verbal dispute between the victim and the subject that escalated into a physical confrontation," explained Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department on Wednesday. "The subject produced a firearm and shot the victim.

The incident took place around 4:45 a.m.

Pinkard said that Castro was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
