1. Bal Harbour Police say a "clandestine lab" was discovered at Bal Harbour high-rise and led to 3 floors being evacuated. Authorities say someone had recently been evicted from a 15th floor unit and building employees discovered chemicals and other materials they described as concerning when they went into the unit. 2. 36-year-old Doral Charter School Teacher Daniel Fernandez was charged with second degree lewd and lascivious behavior after the claims from the student at Renaissance Charter School. (NBC Miami)
3. One person was injured in a shooting outside a McDonald’s in Pinecrest earlier this week. Police say 4 males who were in a fight ended up pulling out guns and shooting at each other. The injured man was taken to Jackson South Hospital and is now listed as stable. (CBS Miami)
4. South Florida Senator Shevrin Jones is set to take on a new role with the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Jones was one of the first in Florida to back Joe Biden for President in May 2019. (Florida Politics)
5. Miami Worldcenter has announced that three new tenants have signed on to open at the $4 billion mixed-use development. The new tenants are Bowlero, Lucid Motors, and Sephora. (The Miami Next)
