1. Joe's Pizza is heading south from New York City to Miami in the Wynwood 25 complex in 2022. Joe's has enjoyed popularity with New Yorkers since it opened back in 1975. It will be joined by Los Angeles favorite the Henry. (Eater)

2. A land swap deal for a memorial at the Surfside Condo collapse site was rejected Tuesday by Surfside commissioners in a contentious meeting. Those in opposition did not like the plan because it would tear down the town's community center. (WPLG Local 10)

3. Microsoft is set to open a regional hub that will serve as headquarters for Microsoft Latin America in Miami. The company will lease 42,000 square-feet of space at 830 Brickell. The office is slated to open in mid-2023 and will continue Microsoft's expansion in the Sunshine State. (NBC Miami)

4. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber slammed Governor DeSantis after DeSantis declared that county and city governments would be fined $5,000 per violation if they mandated COVID vaccines for employees earlier this week. Gelber accused Governor DeSantis of spreading vaccine conspiracy theories and said the push against vaccine mandates is "really horrible." (Patch Miami)

5. House of Horror Haunted Carnival is returning to Miami International Mall for the first time in 3 years. There will be 4 haunted experiences and unlimited carnival rides, food, and carnival games at the House of Horror midway. It will run from September 30th until Halloween night. (WPLG Local 10)
