Missing 78-Year-Old Woman In Miami-Dade Located

MIAMI, FL — A missing 78-year-old woman who suffers from dementia has been located in Miami-Dade County.

Elivane Merice had been last seen in the 800 block of NE 153 Terrace on Wednesday, according to police.

"The Miami-Dade Police Department, Special Victims Bureau detectives located Ms. Merice and she has been reunited with her family," explained Detective Lee Cowart of the Miami-Dade Police Department on Thursday night.

Cowart said Merice suffers from the beginning stages of dementia.
