1. Whole Foods Market has officially signed to open a new store next to Midtown Miami. It will be located in multiple levels at the new Nema apartment tower at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard. (The Next Miami)

2. Police said rescue crews took a man to Aventura Hospital on Saturday after he was shot at a Wendy’s drive-thru in North Miami Beach. Investigators said others who were initially in the car with him ran away. An investigation is underway. (WSVN)

3. South Florida Uber driver, Sumey Martinez Arzuaga, says she was assaulted and beaten up by an angry passenger in Overtown on Saturday morning after the driver said he was asking to be taken to too many places. Arzuaga says she recently came from Cuba and found work with Uber as a driver. (NBC Miami)

4. Florida is facing a shortage of mental health counselors just as the need is growing for services. Senator Anna Maria Rodriguez (R-Doral) is pushing to make changes that would help bridge the gap. (WMFE)

5. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has launched a lawsuit against the Biden Administration over the constitutionality of the employer COVID-19 vaccine mandate by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The lawsuit was filed Friday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. (Patch Florida)
