New Year's Weather Around Miami

MIAMI, FL — If you're planning to spend New Year's Day around Miami, you may see some showers. Rain is a possibility on New Year's Day afternoon but we won't let that spoil our holiday. Here is the National Weather Service outlook:

New Year's Day
A 20 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

New Year's Day Night
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 8 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 61. North wind 9 to 11 mph.
