Miami Cars And Homes Struck By Gunfire

Miami police were still trying to determine who opened fire in the Flagami section of the city.

MIAMI, FL — Police are trying to determine who opened fire on parked cars and homes Wednesday afternoon in the Flagami section of the city. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of NW 17 Street around 2:40 p.m. Miami police said there were no reported injuries.

Officer Michael Vega of the Miami police department said that police received multiple 9-1-1 calls from people who heard gunshots in the area.

"Once officers arrived, they uncovered that several vehicles that were parked at, and across from 3370 N.W. 17 Street had multiple bullet holes," Vega explained. "At least two homes in the area were also struck as a result of the multiple shots that were fired. "

Vega said that police were still trying to determine a motive for the shooting on Wednesday evening.

"There is no description of the shooter(s)," he added. "Additionally, there are no reports of any persons injured."
