1. Miami-Dade Public Library System's bookmobile is bringing books, music, audiobooks, and movies around the county. It usually stops at public parks, childcare facilities, condos, retirement communities, and more. (The Jitney)

2. Former Miami Police Chief Art Acevedo has filed a lawsuit against City of Miami. Acevado claims the city manager and three commissioners violated his rights and targeted him for calling out corruption in the city. (WSVN)

3. A 47-year-old Miami woman, Maricela Ramirez, was arrested Thursday and accused of operating four massage parlors in Broward County and using them as fronts for prostitution. The investigation dates back to 2019 and was led by The Broward Sheriff’s Office and Hollywood Police. (CBS Miami)

4. A new lease for a third Royal Caribbean office building on the port in Miami could make the county a half billion dollars. Royal Caribbean is the world’s second largest cruise line by both passengers and revenue. (Miami Today)

5. 27-year-old Jamare Mason from Georgia was sentenced to six years and six months in prison in Fort Lauderdale federal court for participating in a scheme to steal more than $1.8 million in veteran and Social Security benefits. (CBS Miami)
