2. The University of Florida (UF) could be facing an accreditation probe after banning professors from testifying against the state and Governor Ron DeSantis. Under national scrutiny, UF announced that its political science professors would be allowed to testify as plaintiffs’ witnesses if they don’t get paid or use school resources. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

3. A partnership between Visit Florida and other tourism organizations in the Miami, Orlando and Tampa area with Michelin will allow Michelin to begin adding the cities to their popular list of guides. The inaugural edition of "The Michelin Guide Miami, Orlando and Tampa" will be announced in 2022. (Florida Patch)

4 Rising Rent: The cost of rent in Miami is 10% higher than projected and 5% higher in Fort Lauderdale since the COVID-19 pandemic began, according to some studies. Locals are competing against out-of-town residents and there is no end in sight. The rise is forcing people to aggressively shop for a place to live. (NBC Miami)

5. The Miami Dolphins have suffered 7 losses in a row this season, making for a disappointing season for fans. Their next game is this Sunday against the Houston Texans. Hopefully things will get better for fans soon. (Miami New Times)
