Hail up to the size of quarters and wind gusts in excess of 55 mph are possible this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
MIAMI, FL — Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase this weekend as a weak cold front approaches south Florida, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.

Marine and beach conditions could deteriorate by the end of the weekend and into early next week as northeasterly winds increase behind a progressive front.

The NWS said this may result in a high risk of rip currents along the east coast and elevated seas over the Atlantic waters.
