1. A Palm Beach Gardens man was arraigned in federal court in West Palm Beach on charges that he called and threatened to injure two Congresswomen as well as a district attorney. 60-year-old Paul Vernon Hoeffer is charged with three counts of interstate transmission of threats to injure. Hoeffer reportedly threatened Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). (Patch West Palm Beach)
2. Miami-Dade County Police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting. Police say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound when they responded to a call at 800 Washington Avenue. The injured man was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital. (WPLG Local 10)
3. Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink has made big changes after 14 years in business in the Miami Design District. The restaurant worked with designer Marcela Lombana on the renovations that include an expansion into an adjacent space, an upgrade to the outdoor terrace, and more. (Eater Miami)
