PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 23-year-old Port Richey man was killed after losing control of his Corvette while speeding on State Road 54 early Saturday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
He was heading west on State Road 54 when he lost control of his car on a curve in the road around 3 a.m.
He traveled across the center median and rotated while entering the path of another car, driven by a 43-year-old Hudson man, who was heading east on the road, FHP said. This caused the second driver to hit the Corvette’s driver’s side.
