3 Pasco Elementary Schools Under Controlled Delayed Dismissals

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Out of an abundance of caution, Anclote Elementary School, Gulf Trace Elementary School and Sunray Elementary School had delayed controlled dismissal Wednesday.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said there are no threats to the schools. The sheriff's office didn't elaborate about the reason for the controlled dismissals.
At the same time, the sheriff's office announced that deputies are searching for Jacob Guest, 22, for on ongoing investigation in Holiday Wednesday afternoon.

Guest is 5 feet 11 inches tall, around 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Guest was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and white and black shoes.
The sheriff's office is also searching for others who fled during a drug investigation in the Holiday area earlier Wednesday.

The sheriff's office said it isn't releasing further information due to the ongoing investigation.
Gulf Trace Elementary School is the closest to where the investigation was taking place.
The incident comes a day after a teen in Hillsborough County was identified and admitted to making threats toward Land O' Lakes High School on social media, resulting in a heavy law enforcement presence at the high school.
The matter has been referred to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office.
The school day went on as usual after the sheriff's office determined there was no threat to the safety of the students.
Then, on Monday, Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel was briefly on controlled lock-down after a report of a missing teen that was last seen at the school. The sheriff's office determined there was no threat to students and the school returned to normal operations.
