1.  It will be mostly sunny today, with temperatures reaching a high near 85.

2.   Learn to make jewelry out of trash.  Take kids 9 years old and up to the New Port Richey  Public Library today to turn plastic bags and old newspapers and magazines into fashion accessories. Time: 4:00 pm–5:30 pm. Address: 5939 Main St, New Port Richey, FL

3. The New Port Richey City Council meets tonight at 7p.m. On the agenda is a discussion of an auditor’s report on the city’s financial situation. Spoilers: According to a memo, if the city doesn’t reach certain financial goals within about 24 months, the auditor is required by state law to notify the state authorities that the city has met at least one of the conditions qualifying it to file a “Statement of Determination of Financial Emergency.”
