The West Pasco Art Guild has been in New Port Richey since 1959. Their building has a spacious gallery for art exhibits and a large classroom. The classes, workshops and exhibits are all open to the public. The members work in a wide variety of media. Current classes offered include watercolor Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to noon, sculptural ceramics on Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and Thursdays from 9 AM to noon along with oil and acrylic painting. Wednesdays offer portrait/figure painting from 1 PM to 4 PM.
The Guild offers numerous workshops during the year. On January 28, there will bea watercolor landscapes workshop by renowned artist, Tom Jones and on the 29th Bonnie Jones will teach flower painting with wax batik. Other workshops upcoming include painting on silk, abstract multi media, watercolor, and painting on glass.

There are also several art shows during the year. The current show is “Planes, Trains, Automobiles and Where They Go." It's inspired by many types of transportation. Show times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During the Suncoast Arts Fest Weekend the exhibit will be open Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Jan. 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional weekend hours during Jan. 28 – 29 from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.
