The Annual Family Fishing Festival at Withlacoochee River Park is on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9am - 1pm. This free event will teach proper fishing techniques and the importance of being stewards of Florida's freshwater ecosystems. There will be hands-on instruction in baiting, casting, knot-tying, tackle selection, freshwater fish identification and much more, as well as wildlife exhibits, games and free lunch.
