Body Found in Flooded Elfers Linked to Debby

The death of David Glenn Huntley, 46, appears to be the first fatality in Pasco linked to Debby.

The death of a man whose body was found in floodwater in Elfers near the Anclote River has been linked to Tropical Storm Debby.

The Medical Examiner for Pasco and Pinellas Counties has determined that “drowning" was the cause of death for David Glenn Huntley, 46, according to Doug Tobin, spokesman for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. An additional factor in his death was "cardio-vascular" related, according to Tobin.

The examiner ruled the death was accidental and related to Debby, according to Tobin.
