Boy Found in Pool Dies
The 4-year-old was reported missing and was found 15 minutes later in a pool.

A 4-year-old boy pulled out of a pool in Holiday died Sunday night, according to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies.
At 8:54 p.m. Sunday, the Sheriffs Office received a call that the boy was missing from a home at 4219 Pinefield Avenue in Holiday. Deputies found him 15 minutes later at 4216 Sail Drive, one street over, and pulled him out of the pool at that house.
They started CPR and pasco Fire Rescue also responded. The boy was airlifted in critical condition to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, where he was pronounced dead.

Initial investigation leads deputies to believe the incident was an accident. The boy has been identified as Aidan Bower. Deputies say he is autistic. Accoreding to deputies, he had gotten out of the house by opening the window to his bedroom and pushing out the screen.
Doug Tobin, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said the boy was found at the bottom of the pool at the house on Sail Drive. An elderly woman ives there but told a detective she did not know the family.

Doug Tobin, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said it appears that Aidan's family did everything they could to secure their home but didn't think the boy would try to leave out the window.
Aidan would have turned 5 next month, Tobin said.
"Everyone is utterly devastated," he said.
Folks in the neighborhood declined to comment.
