City Council's Trip To Tallahassee Prompts Cancellation Of Regular Council Meeting
The mayor has called a special meeting of the city council for Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the council chambers.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The regular New Port Richey City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, has been cancelled due to lack of a quorum needed to conduct the meeting.
“It has come to my attention that there will not be a physical quorum needed to hold the regular meeting of the New Port Richey City Council due to myself and many of my colleagues attending the Florida League of Cities Legislative Action Days in Tallahassee,” said Mayor Rob Marlowe.
The mayor, city council members and city manager will be traveling to Tallahassee to meet with legislators on Monday, April 3,and are not scheduled to return until Wednesday, April 5.

Marlowe has called a special meeting of the city council for Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the council chambers, City Hall, 5919 Main St. The agenda for the special meeting may be found at here.
In addition to the special meeting, the city council will host a work session at 5 p.m. and a community redevelopment agency meeting immediately after the special meeting. The agendas for those two meetings may also be found through the link provided above.
