Dog Missing After Car Stolen In Port Richey: Pasco Sheriff's Office

A dog that was in a car when it was stolen from outside a Port Richey home early Dec. 6 is still missing, the Pasco Sheriff's Office said.

PORT RICHEY, FL — Investigators are looking for a dog that was inside a car stolen from outside a Port Richey home early Dec. 6, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.

The dog was in a black 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage stolen in the Shallowford Drive area around 12:40 a.m.

Though the car has since been found, the dog is still missing, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect appeared to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
