Donation Drive Benefits Domestic Violence Victims on Mother's Day

Calusa Elementary and Two Men and a Truck are teaming up to give women being housed at Sunrise Domestic Violence Shelter something to celebrate.

Students at Calusa Elementary School are partnering with the Two Men and a Truck moving company to bring a little cheer to women seeking shelter from domestic violence.

In recognition of Mother’s Day, the students are collecting donations of items they can put in gift baskets for mothers being housed at Sunrise Domestic Violence Shelter.

The shelter provides a safe place for domestic violence victims to go. It serves all of Pasco County with its crisis housing, hot line, counseling programs and other services.
