Driver Killed in Christmas Morning Crash In Pasco: FL Highway Patrol

The driver, a Spring Hill man, died Christmas morning after losing control of his SUV on a Pasco County road, FL Highway Patrol said.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 39-year-old Spring Hill man died after losing control of his SUV in a Christmas morning crash in Pasco County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. as he was heading east on Banbury Avenue just west of Gatun Street.

He lost control on a curve in the road, entered the shoulder and hit several trees, FHP said.

The driver was brought to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
