TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office are searching for an inmate who escaped from a Tarpon Springs work release program Wednesday.

Patrick Carlson, 31, was last seen on Friday around 4 p.m. in the Mandarin Drive area of Tarpon Springs.

Law enforcement officials believe Patrick Carlson may have fled north on foot or bicycle into the Anclote area of Pasco County.
