Facebook Threats Lead To Teen’s Arrest

A 15-year-old Holiday boy faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening another boy on Facebook.

HOLIDAY, FL — A 15-year-old Anclote High School student is in hot water after Pasco County deputies say he used Facebook to threaten a classmate after that boy allegedly called his girlfriend a name.

The 15-year-old is accused of taking to Facebook to message the victim, telling the boy to “stop talking to his girlfriend or the victim would have problems,” an arrest report said. Another message sent to victim threatened a beating, the report noted.

After receiving the messages, the victim told deputies he avoided the boy at school, but was “scared of the suspect.” The teen said he was afraid the boy would “hurt him because of the messages the suspect sent to him.”
