Holiday Man Discovered With Cache of Child Porn
David Charles Vancelette was arrested while a computer in his room shared child porn over the Internet, according to authorities.

A Holiday man stands accused of promoting the sexual performance of a child and also faces multiple counts of possession of child pornography.
According to an arrest report completed by a spegial agent in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Michael David Vancelette, 25, promoted the sexual performance of a child younger than 18 when he offered for upload a jpeg file of a woman performing a sex act on a boy and had in his possession an image of sexual conduct performed by a child.
He also had in his possession more than 10 videos of child pornography on July 2, according to the report. A special agent with FDLE estimated that children in the videos were younger than 15. The youngest may have been around 10, he said.

According to the arrest report, authorities executed a search warrant around 1 p.m. Monday at Vancelette’s residence at 5252 Casino Drive, Holiday. Vancelette was in bed. A Compaq computer was on in the room. When an agent told him he needed to talked to him, he asked if he could get dressed and was told he could.
Vancelette invoked his right to an attorney, according to the report. An agent then investigated the computer and noticed it was sharing files online. Examination found at least 28 files being shared, including one in Vancelette’s possession.

Vancelette was charged with one count of promotion of sexual performance of a child and 11 counts of child pornography. He remained in in Land O’ Lakes Jail Tuesday morning in lieu of $65,000 bond.
