Bestiality, Child Porn Charges Filed Against Coach: Sheriff

A FL coach was arrested on bestiality and child porn charges after being accused of uploading videos of the sexual acts on Kik, reports say.

SPRING HILL, FL — Pasco County authorities have arrested a youth lacrosse coach and real estate agent on bestiality and child porn charges accused of sharing online videos of people engaging in sexual acts with animals, per media reports.

Reports say Christopher Hayes, 46, of Spring Hill, was arrested Friday by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office on 82 charges after he uploaded dozens of videos and photos of at least one child and other people engaging in the intimate acts to the Kik instant messenger app.

Authorities were alerted to Hayes' suspected activities via a tip earlier in the year, Pasco County News reported. In addition to being a real estate agent and coach, he is also a church deacon, the news outlet reported.

The uploaded files included at least two incidents considered child pornography, with one of them depicting "a child performing sexual acts on a dog," WFLA reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

Of the 80 files portraying human-animal sexual acts, Pasco County News reported 74 of them involved sexual intercourse with a number of them allegedly showing Hayes participating in the activities.

This included Hayes with a black Labrador retriever, the family's dog, the news outlet reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

The suspected videos were recorded between July 2022 and September 2024, Pasco County News reported.

Hayes was charged on suspicion of sexual contact with animals, possession of materials depicting the sexual performance of a child and multiple counts of possession of an image or video depicting animal sexual activity, Pasco County News reported.

He was taken to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center, the news outlet reported. Jail records showed Hayes remained in custody Thursday.

Hayes has denied the allegations, both WFLA and Pasco County News reported.
