Man Faces Mound of Child Porn Charges

Duane Sabo faces 11 counts of child pornography related charges.

A New Port Richey area man stands accused of a list of child pornography related offenses.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone was sending images of child pornography via email, according to Det. William Lindsey, of the agency’s major crimes unit. 

Lindsey subpoenaed an Internet service provider seeking information in the case.

The provider gave him an account belonging to a woman at a New Port Richey address.

A records check revealed she lives there and so does Duane Sabo. Deputies obtained a search warrant. The arrest report says that during an onsite search, deputies, he found images and video of child pornography on Duane Sabo’s computer. The pornography was found on Jan. 29.

An arrest report said that on Nov. 2 , a file with 97 jpegs with images of children engaged in sexual acts with other boys, adults and animals was sent from the email address.

Sabo was charged with one count of possession of obscene material with intention to promote sexual performance of a child and 10 counts possession of sexual performance of a child.

Lindsey requested a high bond for Sabo. Sabo remained in jail Wednesday in lieu of $170,000 bail.
