Man Fatally Shot By Acquaintance In Bayonet Point Area

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Friday in the Laredo Drive area of Bayonet Point.

Preliminary information indicates a man was shot following an argument with another man. The man who was shot has died.

The sheriff's office said this is an isolated incident between two people who are acquainted and there is no threat to the public.
