Middle School Student Accused of Hurting Teacher in Fit

A boy grew upset over being called a name and pushed a stack of chairs onto a teacher.

A 14-year-old boy who attends Paul R. Smith Middle School was arrested Friday and accused of throwing a fit that resulted in a stack of chairs falling on a teacher.

The boy became upset on Friday after his ex-girlfriend called him a “player,” according to an arrest report from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.  He then overturned his desk in a classroom and threw a chair at a classroom closet.

A teacher ordered him out of the room. On his way out, he called her an obscenity and pushed over a stack of chairs. The stack fell on the teacher.
