Motorcyclist Killed In U.S. 301 Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A motorcyclist died after crashing into the back of an SUV on U.S. 301 in Pasco County on Sunday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed in a Sunday afternoon crash on U.S. 301 in Pasco County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The 73-year-old Brooksville man was heading north on U.S. 301 at the same time as a 56-year-old Dade City man driving an SUV around 1:15 p.m.
The woman stopped to yield to oncoming traffic with the intention of turning into a driveway in the 21000 block of U.S. 301.

The motorcyclist failed to slow or stop and hit the back of the SUV, FHP said. He died at the scene.
The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.
