Near Drowning of 1-year-old Under Investigation

Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating Saturday the near drowning of a 1-year-old boy.

According to the sheriff’s office, the boy and his father were in the water in a canal in the Floramar Terrace area of Gulf Harbors at the time of the incident.

The boy was breathing on his own and was airlifted to All Childrens Hospital. CPR had been delivered prior to Fire Rescues's arrival at the scene.
