Over the course of the investigation, authorities received an anonymous tip that David Hodierne, who was on probation, had committed a home invasion robbery in Holiday and had the stolen items in a safe in his living room.
Grooms was arrested May 18 and booked into Land O’ Lakes Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail. He has also been arrested in the past for strong-arm robbery and other offenses. Hodierne, 26, of 7414 Ingleside Drive in Port Richey was already in the Land O' Lakes jail on a different charge when he was arrested in April and charged with home invasion robbery with a weapon.
