New Port Richey Firefighters Rescue Injured Hawk
New Port Richey firefighters scooped the injured hawk up from a roadway and gave it a ride in their fire truck to a nearby animal hospital.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — New Port Richey firefighters recently came to the rescue of an injured hawk found on a roadway.
According to the fire department, firefighters encountered the hawk Friday and were able to safely transport it to a local animal hospital where it's being treated for its injuries.
It wasn't immediately clear what type of injuries the hawk suffered or where exactly in New Port Richey firefighters found it.
